It’s important for your business to blog on a regular basis because you’re sending a message to the search engines that your company site is active. This should help put you at the top of search results because you are seen as a potential source of new information.


Clean Email List

Make certain that the email you send is compliant with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 or CAN-SPAM for short.  This means that you should only be emailing those who agreed to be put on your marketing list, and the email should contain your full business address plus an option to “unsubscribe”. Violations of the CAN-SPAM act could result in fines and even jail time.

Unlike traditional advertising, online marketing is much easier to measure. With web analytics and statistics, you know exactly where conversions came from, and what your areas for improvement are.

Unless it’s paid search marketing, you will need to wait for results. There is no way to predict how long an impression takes to be converted to action, so give it time to work.
